Business Problem
This International banking client was experiencing delayed regulatory reporting response timelines creating too little time for manual intervention and causing increased validation efforts due to data quality issues. Regulatory and MIS reports were being generated using legacy systems and without a central repository for data. Management wanted to build a CDR/DW with good quality data and automate the report generation and submissions through one solution. Data validation was also required for regulatory reports before submission.

Solutions
OTSI implemented a maker-checker option to validate the regulatory reports before submission. The solution handled both XBRL and non-XBRL reports automatically and seamlessly supported regular updates that periodically appear in the XBRL formats.
