Business Case:

Customer wanted to build a well-defined dashboard for their C-suite as a part of their DSS enhancement. To achieve this, customer is looking for services to review, analyze and recommend on the required KPIs and the dashboards. As a part of the engagement, the existing BI assets evaluation in terms of sufficiency to be reported along with the GAP analysis.

Challenges:

  • Unable to utilize the existing data assets due to lack of skillsets
  • The existing dashboards are insufficient for the C-suite impacting decision making
  • The developed BI assets were based on the Ad-hoc requirements and not having a full-view of the organizational requirements.
  • Performance review to be done on the existing infrastructure.

Solution / Project Engagement:

  • A complete study of the existing infrastructure was done. Listed the goals of the organization and does a GAP analysis.
  • Recommended the list of KPIs based on the C-suite requirements along with their derivations.
  • A study of existing tableau dashboards was done.
  • Modifications to the existing dashboards and list of new dashboards to be developed, were documented.
  • Co-ordinated with customers DW & ETL teams to make changes as needed for recommended dashboards.
  • Tableau reports/dashboards were developed and delivered as required.
