Business Case:

  • One of the most prominent K-12 school districts in Missouri uses Alio for benefits and payroll.
  • Manual entry and processes were used to terminate and correctly reconcile benefits, final pay, etc. This process was cumbersome, error prone, and lengthy.
  • A manual method was used to trigger account deactivation as well.


Challenges:

  • There are no existing APIs or Web Services enabled or standardized for the applications involved.

  • The ERP system had limited integration points.

  • The budget was tight.

  • Reusability and best practices was a must.

  • The solution must be a base for integrating other systems.

  • Email employee with terms
  • End dates benefits
  • Reconciles final contract payout
  • End dates leaves
  • End dates direct deposit
  • Sets termination status
  • Set de-activation in active Directory, removing access
